Domaine Berthaut-Gerbet Fixin 2018

Amelie Berthaut is a rising star producer in Burgundy. Having taken over the family domain in Fixin, she's now making wine from several vineyards across multiple appellations including Grand Cru sites like Clos de Vougeot. I'm a huge fan of her work and I think she'll be considered one of the greats in her time.

This Fixin rouge is is from a few village vineyards near the Berthaut home in Fixin. This receives 12 months oak aging in neutral barrels.
