Crunchy Red Fruit ordered Clos de la Rue special from France, just to showcase the best of what Lambert has to offer. This is from a vineyard planted in 1965 on sandy clay soils. It's lush, firm, and possessed of immense texture. For me this wine is in the hallowed territory of Chenin producers like Domaine du Collier and Guiberteau.
