Valentines Day Wine and Chocolate Box

We've picked two delicious wines and handcrafted local chocolates to help you celebrate Valentine's Day this year!

One bottle is the requisite Valentine's Day bubbly: a bright, nuanced rosé bubbly made by the amazing Olivier Morin winery in Burgundy. This is Crémant de Bourgogne, one of the nearest cousins to Champagne outside of the region itself. I am a huge fan of this bubbly and I think you will be too. The vineyards are farmed organically, and the wines are expressive and scrumptious.

We also have a very special Pinot Noir as part of this ensemble, an aged bottling from California, made by Saintsbury. This is a 2014 vintage Pinot Noir from the Pratt Vineyard, a special site on the Sonoma Coast that exemplifies cool-climate, balanced California Pinot Noir. Here you'll find a wine that expresses ripe red cherry fruit, allspice, crushed violets and a fresh, balanced finish. Only a couple hundred cases of this wine are produced each year, and we're especially excited to be offering this wine with seven years of gentle bottle age. This wine is perfectly unfolded to drinkability.

We partnered with Flight Wine & Chocolate to produce a delicious pack of four handcrafted chocolates that will be part of the first two dozen or so orders (hence the importance of pre-ordering) we ship out. These chocolates are absolutely fantastic, made from scratch here in Seattle, and will be a perfect way to celebrate Valentine's day with your beloved.
