Jacquart Brut Rosé NV

an absolutely delightful discovery this year. This small-production rosé hits all the notes it should. Light red fruit, crispy mousse, dry finish, great with food. 

Christian Etienne Millésime 2008

This is everything you want from vintage Champagne. It brings fresh yellow apple fruit, toasted almond and brioche notes, a hint of fresh Meyer lemon on the finish, and plenty of supple texture. I love how present and compact this wine is even at nearly 20 years of age. Delightful stuff.

Gaston Collard Dosage Zero Grand Cru Champagne NV

The first two bottles in this box are more "classic," and this is a geekier, funkier bottling that places an emphasis on mineral, chalky quality and a steely, glassy texture. Dry as bone. This is just about the perfect thing to put with oysters, shrimp or caviar.
