Bedrock Wine Co. Winemaker Tasting with Morgan Twain-Peterson

Want to learn from one of California's great vineyard and wine minds? We have Morgan Twain-Peterson joining us next Wednesday the 24th. This will be amazing opportunity to taste with someone doing incredible work on the front lines of the wine world. We'll taste six wines with some light snacks and learn about Morgan's tireless work in the vineyard and winery.

As the winemaker of Bedrock, Morgan has been partly responsible for the resurgence of Zinfandel to popular consciousness, and one of the advocates for field blends that utilize California's wealth of old vineyards. Morgan was one of the founding members of the California Historic Vineyard Society, which has kept many 70-120 year-old vineyards from being bulldozed and forgotten. It's people like Morgan whose mentorship we have to thank for California's crop of dynamic new winemakers, too!

Morgan comes from Zinfandel royalty: his dad Joel Peterson founded Ravenswood in 1976, and established a sterling reputation for the grape's rise to fame. Now Morgan is doing the same, but with a decided focus on old vineyards with stories to tell. 

We'll be tasting a selection of six of Morgan's Bedrock wines, and hearing about them directly from the person who made them.
