Domaine Berthaut-Gerbet Bourgogne Les Prielles 2018

Amelie Berthaut is a rising star producer in Burgundy. Having begun to take over the family domain in Fixin, she's now making wine from several vineyards across multiple appellations including Grand Cru sites like Clos de Vougeot. I'm a huge fan of her work and I think she'll be considered one of the greats in her time.
This Bourgogne les Prielles is from a small 1-hectare regional vineyard near the Berthaut home in Fixin. This receives 18 months oak aging in neutral barrels.
