Boroli 'Brunella' Barolo 2013

The big gun. This is a great Barolo from a great vintage, and I couldn’t help but seek this out to put in the Cellar. Boroli is known for a classic, but very polished style of Barolo. The monopole Brunella vineyard was acquired only a year before by the Boroli family, and this 2013 is the first year of them producing wine from this small, 2.7 hectare parcel. This is firm, unctuous, aromatic Barolo with tons of character.
