Clos Saron Home Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016

We were allocated only three bottles of the Clos Saron. One of them would usually go to me and the warehouse crew to taste, but it was just too good to keep, so we’re sharing them all. This is a unique, tiny property in the Sierra Foothills, a warm area not typically associated with Pinot Noir. The Home Vineyard is only 2.5 acres, but this cool microclimate is able to produce a Pinot Noir with velvety, ample richness and elegantly balanced structure.

Tasting Notes: black cherries, redwood sawdust, fresh thyme
