Anne-Sophie Dubois 'Sans Detour' 2020

Anne-Sophie Dubois is a beloved producer for us, having created some of the most expressive and inspiring Beaujolais wines we've tasted over the last couple of years. Her reach has now extended to experimenting with Gamaret, and we are stoked on the results. This is a perfect French country wine–bursting with flavor yet restrained, and still possessed of that lovely rustic quality that old-school French winemakers seem to conjure out of thin air.

Gamaret is a lovely-tasting cross between Gamay Noir and Reichensteiner, created in 1970 and commercially approved in 1990.

Tasting note: fresh cherry and strawberry, saddle leather, dried roasting herbs
