JB Neufield Old Goat Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

JB Neufeld is the name of the winemaker and proprietor here. He divides his time between making the wines for Gilbert Cellars, and doing his own side project. He’s quietly been making some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon in Washington for the last several years. Extracted, rich and spicy, but not without finesse. I’d rather drink this than many of the showier, flashier WA wine bottles that garner inflated prices these days.
