La Staffa 'Rincrocca' Verdicchio 2018

This is one of the most unique and special white wines we've tasted in a while. We love the work of Riccardo Baldi, who has been producing brilliant whites and sparklings in Le Marche under La Staffa's label. Everything is low-intervention, organically-farmed, and made with care. La Rincrocca is a special bottling from 50+ year-old vines of several different clones. It's aged in cement and bottle for nearly two full years before release. 

Tasting notes: lemon pepper, salty air, white flowers

Pairings: being out on a boat in the sun and looking for fish, shrimp or crab. eating said seafood once you're back to shore.
