Every year we get excited about this Txakolina again, and for good reason. There's literally nothing else that tastes like it. It's a walk through a warm European summer garden. You can taste perfectly ripe heirloom tomatoes, peppers, fresh herbs and flowers, all kissed by a mist of spring water. How can so brainlessly refreshing and simple also be so complex? It happens every year when the new vintage comes out–we rediscover why we love this wine so much, because it wins us over again. Rezabal usually drops in April or May, but it came late this year. No worries–we're glad there's hot weather and more on the way.

I can think of few wines more refreshing and delightful to have on a warm day than Rezabal Txakolina–beyond it's lovely vegetal and fruit notes, it's both high in acidity and low in alcohol (10.5%), and it finishes with a light spritziness on the palate, making it go down effortlessly. Imagine chilled gazpacho in vinous form.
Drink Rezabal with a cheese and charcuterie platter. Drink it with gazpacho, like I just did the other night, a perfect pairing. This is one of the few wines that almost begs for occasion and setting more than it begs for food. Take it on your boat, on your porch, on your deck, with you to a picnic. Of course it pairs with food too, but just know it'll enhance your vibe just as much as it enhances your crudités and salads.

This is 100% Hondarribi Beltza, a cousin of Cabernet Franc, and it brings that classic vegetal quality to the forefront, while staying refreshing through the whole bottle. Get this while our deal lasts!
