Cantina Terlan Nova Domus 2017

There’s people who would call Cantina Terlan the greatest producer of white wines in Italy. I may not go that far, but they’re definitely in the top five. It’s amazing when you realize this is a cooperative producer. Co-ops used to be synonymous with bulk wine farmed cheaply, but Terlan breaks the mold. They work with many small growers who all farm meticulously, and have a talented winemaker at the helm. 

Tasting note: green apple, apricot, tart pineapple 

Food Pairings: seared scallops, broiled lobster, baked brie

Drinking: Open 30 minutes before drinking. Keep at cool temp, but not too cold.
